The swimming club's tuck shop is open on a Wednesday and Friday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm, and at home galas or fundraising events.

It is run by Mick and Sheila Winn and is situated in the function room on your left as you enter the pool.

The tuck shop was set up in September 2000 and at present has raised nearly £3000 for the club.

All sweets cost either 1p and 2p and ALL profit goes towards the benefit of the members of the club.

Mick and Sheila have great pleasure in giving the children a treat after a good workout in their lessons.

The sweets are purchased from various places, mainly Batley's and The Round Emporium, also paper bags from the local firm and rubber gloves to wear for health and safety purposes.

Children and adults alike ask for different selections of sweets, so Mick and Sheila try to oblige them by choosing their favourites from the wide variety of selections they have at the suppliers.
