A message from your former coach:
After leaving the club at such short notice as I did, I would like to explain why I felt I had to leave the club I had so much passion for.
At the beginning of 2007 I was forced to find a new employer, which resulted in working longer hours, this made it difficult for me to commit enough time to the swimming club and give the same standard of coaching I had previously given. It also gave me less time to spend with my family.
Although I tried to continue with the club and not let the club down, it became obvious to me and my family that I could no longer continue. I have loads of happy memories from the club and met many friends, but the most pleasure I got was teaching children, and I will miss each and every one of them, but as everyone knows family comes first and the difficult decision was made to quit the club, I will miss you all.
I would like to wish the club well and the swimmers all the success you deserve, it was a pleasure to coach you.
