All swimmers are monitored on a weekly basis, once they can swim to the level of the group confidently they will have a trial for the next group.

Children have the chance to gain awards in swimming these are categorised as follows:

Beginners - Tara devised an award system whereby every time the children attend their swimming lessons they get a coloured sticker to put on their sticker chart, when their chart is full they are awarded with a certificate to take home.

Puffin - swim 5m with a floatation

5mtrs - swim 5m without a floatation

10mtrs - swim10m without a floatation

Level 1+2, 3+4, 5+6, 7+8, 9+10, 11+12, Competitive Start.

Grades 3,4,5,6
